Cesar Velez is a Contemporary Visual Artist based in Kansas City, MO. Specializing in oil paint, his work draws heavily from emotion and personal experience. His art and worldview have been influenced by his upbringing in the U.S. as a first generation undocumented immigrant. Using painting as a vessel for storytelling, expressive use of color and symbolism are combined in his work to document the unique truths of his journey.
